On this day:

Guthrie's, a chain of chicken-finger restaurants with the best sauce anywhere, is looking to expand across the southeast. One of the chain's owners, Hud Guthrie, said, "We're starting in Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Louisiana, then eventually we want to expand across the nation."

Practically everything on the Guthrie's menu is fat-filled except for the sweet tea, but it sure is tasty...especially the sauce, which is good on the chicken fingers but even better with the french fries. One cup is never enough. If anyone knows what's in the stuff, be sure to let me know.

Come to think of it...I haven't had dinner yet.
