On this day:

On Topic

As anyone who has tried it knows, this bloggin' thing can be pretty darned frustrating sometimes. There are tons of news items out there everyday just begging for a little attention. But, it's impossible (and undesirable) to mention them all with even a tiny blurb, much less to provide pithy treatises shining with brilliance and teeming with originality. Then, there's the plague of "bloggers block" - there are those days when you just can't seem to come up with anything worth writing about. And some days, you're just too tired, annoyed, or otherwise occupied to worry about bloggin' on anything of substance.

Anyway, to help cure all that, I'm going to try to start posting on a set of recurring topics, one for each day of the week. Most of these are subjects I already post on from time to time. This will just make it a little more organized...I hope. (By the way, by no means do I intend to be exclusive of other stuff, especially Alabama stuff.)

Here's the list I came up with, with a few brief descriptions. (Yeah, so they're a little corny...so what?)

  • Money-Making Mondays: Hailing the virtues of capitalism and free markets.
  • Tyrant-Taunting Tuesdays: Taking on tyrants and would-be tyrants at home and abroad.
  • War-Winning Wednesdays: Noting conservative successes and contemplating how to have more of them.
  • Thoughtful Thursdays: Waxing philosophical on the issues of the day.
  • Federalist Fridays: Celebrating the U.S. Constitution and its framers.
Hmmm...looks like its Money-Making Monday...where the heck do I start?
