That New York Times Story on Chinese Catholics

Take a look at these two stories appearing in the New York Times...one from April 4...the other from April 5.

I didn't do a word-for-word comparison, but as far as I could see, the only thing that changed was the headline.

On April 4, it read "In China, a Divided Church Cautiously Honors Pope's Memory"

Then, on April 5, it changed to "China's State Catholic Church Honors John Paul"

I'm sure that the New York Times wouldn't doctor a headline in order accomodate Chi-Com sensibilities...would they?
